Default Newb Looking For Info and Guidance

Hello. My name is Steve. I am an avid fish keeper. I have a 60 gallon Lake Malawi, non Mbuna Cichlid tank and an 10 gallon community tank. I have one 30 gallon tank and one 20 gallon tank leftover from a failed reef tank experiment and I was considering starting a amphibian tank. I know enough to know that I don't know what I don't know, so I am here hoping to find out how to set up a tank, what equipment I will need and all the rest.

I've already done a bit of research, but I get the feeling that what I've read is old. I strongly suspect there is more up to date and better information available and I usually find forums to be a good source of information.

I'm going to have a look around here, but if anyone can share a link to particularly helpful threads for beginners, that would be great.

I hope to spend a great deal of time here learning what I need to know before getting started. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Scurry and welcome to the forum! There are so many ways you can setup a tank. I really depends on the type of frog you are thinking about keeping. In the mean time we have a commonly asked questions post surrounding building a Vivarium (http://www.frogforum.net/vivarium-te...questions.html)

Enjoy the learning process It is never ending lol

Oh the possibilities for an empty 20 and 30... first things that come to mind are pac mans and firebellies lmao. These new guys are closer and closer to us here... love it!

BTW Pleeeease dont buy creatures from pet supplies plus on rt70. I effin hate those people. Hit up Adam and Eves Pets in latrobe pa. Good dude, local(for us)hes smart, healthy critters, and his only website is on facebook unfortunatly. The enclosure in Monroeville is ok, way too expensive, and the owner is, well my whole creature keeping family hates him, and leave it there.....

Good to see a new yinzer!
