Funny story about my little rescue PCF

I've shared the story about my little rescue Lumpy who I wasn't sure was going to make it or not, but he is fully recovered and sassy to boot! He's the smallest of the 6, and even the other male is roughly double his size. Recently though, this little dude has been getting upset when anyone invades his space! At first I thought it was coincidence, then he did it again, now he does it any time anyone gets too close! Instead of the usual "ribbit", he will do short quiet agitated sounding croaks until they leave him alone. This has me seriously cracking up, because one of my females will keep crawling on the other frog's heads until one will let her stay there and sleep. Anyways, I was wondering if any other pcf owners have witnessed this before? My larger male could care less if another frog is near him so I thought it was pretty funny! Here's some pictures and a video of him being upset with me looking him over to make sure he's healthy! The first one was the first day I got him

Here's a link to a site that has a bunch of different PCF calls. Apparently there's one type of call described as a "trilled encounter call" and I guess the males will make it when another comes into his territory. I think that your little guy may have claimed the space all to himself.

Wow! Thank you for that website, that is so awesome! I've looked a little bit into the different calls but I didn't know there were so many! And he doesn't seem to be stressed out, he's been living with them since he recovered and was all cleared and just recently started making those calls. I keep a close eye on him since he is the smallest. I think it could possibly be the release call too but I have heard him do the trill as well. So cool!
