    Default Toads and their setup

    if you keep toads could you post some pics of your setup and toads thanks im tryin to make a setup for future toads im going to aquire. there is a expo on the 31st and im going to get maybe 2 toads thanks.

    How I keep my California toads.
    What sort of toads are you going to get? The different species may require specific habitats, so it is hard to answer your question without knowing what species of toad you are getting.

    well im looking into cane toads, oak toads( to save room for other tanks), maybe firebellied toads, i really dont know yet exactly?? by the way nice setup!!

    Thanks for the nice comment on my set up!
    If you are undecided whether to get cane toads or oak toads...LOL! ...that is quite a wide ranging spectrum in size!
    Are you going to the San Jose reptile Show? If you see any oak toads there let me know who has them, please. I am going to the Sacramento Reptile show in September.

    i am going to the show on the 31st. right by my house thats when im planning on getting the toads and if i do see oak toads i will def let you know. what day in semptember is sac show. are you from sacramento??? if soo do you ever go field herping??

    I usually only go herping in the early spring. Once it gets hot the little critters all tend to disappear, except for the fence lizards. I'm up in the Motherlode, 3200ft elevation. I do find lot of bullfrogs and garter snakes down at the river in the summer.
