Default MOLD!! okay? or remove the wood?

I just started my first build and have the water feature running while i wait for spring tails and plants to come. I noticed a lot of mold after the first few days.

Anything to worry about? I can take the little pieces that surround the water pond out and replace with cork bark, no problem. But its also forming on the bottom of my main piece that is my water fall.

    PLEASE HELP!

Mold is normal in a new setup. Spingtails and Isopods will munch on it. Other wise, it's like a shark attack, there's nothing you can do to stop it, you just might as well ride it out

What a very bill metaphor lol

I will echo bill. White mold is very very common in new tanks. It will typically resolve itself in a week or so. If the mold is black or Gray then you have an entirely different monster on your hand and should take action to remove the mold as quickly as possible.
