Very nice. I'm currently treating a snowflake morph white tree frog from petco with parasites. Just be aware and prepared for vet bills if u did decide to purchase.

I know. Downfall to all petco animals. They're usually sick or dying.

Well my vet said Misty was healthy minus the parasites so hopefully she will be joining Pickles and Houdini soon. If u did purchase good luck and just be proactive.

(: Always am. Most all Herps I have were rescued and fixer uppers. My vet knows me and all my animals much too well.

    Hello Britt
    Congratulations,

I'm sure you know you can send off a fecal here
    RAL - Test : Reptile

IMO They should be separated into - separate- QT tanks for 60 days.
It sounds like a real pain, but it's not so bad. I actually like the QT period.
Having QT'd ( many ) dart frogs, I can assure you .... It's the right thing to do....you will not be sorry.

Small 2.5 gallon - glass aquariums (these come w glass lids ) are perfect for this.
After the QT tanks can be sterilized/ stored/used for the same purpose/ or used to 'grow out' offspring

The frogs can be kept on clean white dampened paper towel /a hide/ a little leaf litter/ a sprig of a live( cleaned ) plant / clean dish w distilled water/ for this 60 day period.

This will allow you to monitor them easily:
    1) food intake
    2) fecals
    3) overall behavior to evaluate wellness
    4) watch to be sure they are eating /gaining weight/ catching their flies w/out any difficulty

This will give them a great start for a long life of which they should have in captivity.

Wondering? Where did they come from ?? Who bred them ??

The QT period will also give them a period of which they will gain weight nicely.
This is a large species; impressive when they are able to reach their full size/potential.

I'd have to contact the reptile caretaker at that specific petco and inquire. Not entirely sure they themselves even actually know. (:

But I didn't purchase any Azures, instead I got this ham yesterday.

I always put any new additions through quarantine (90-Day) until everything is cleared by my vet. I learned the hard way. And lost a very gorgeous Yellow-Green Gold Eye WTF.

But should I ever talk myself into azures, I'll definitely be getting them through Josh's Frogs.

For the moment WTF's have my heart. But I absolutely appreciate and respect the gorgeous azures. <3

Thank you. He's been quite the addition definitely make. Did a mating call that would me up my poor partner in crime and again just as I was falling sleep for a nap. Lol, he even got Mr. Greene to start doing his call.
