Thats great news! I know that those frogs can be a challenge sometimes so its great that she ate.

Just want to point out that moss is an impaction risk. Even if she's been on it for a while it is still recommended that you remove it for the well-being of the frog.

thanks for the tip I was already aware of the impaction that's why I took her out.of cage even with eco earth because I was paranoid about it which caused more stress on her causing her not to eat.

I am going to slowly remove the moss little at a time right now I have to keep her setup just like she had from her previous home .

These things are smart in my opinion they know the difference

Nice! I hear those guys are a little harder to train to eat because of how shy and stubborn they can be. I think you got everything handled well if you plan to move her off the moss a little at a time.

Are you tong feeding her? If you're tong feeding then I personally don't see too much of an issue as of right now with having to leave her in an environment that has moss, especially if it's just so that she can get comfortable first before being moved off of it.

I didn't realize they were that fussy either I thought if anything they would be more voracious considering how large they could get.

I think as she gets larger she will become less shy she really loves night crawlers she eats full grown ones . She won't eat off tongs yet someday I hope though.
