Force feeding.

My 2.5 inch Brazilian horned frog has not eaten in 5 days losing some weight. At what point does a person need to try and force feed frog? I don't want to shouldn't have to but not sure how long I should wait to try?

When I bought the frog I don't think he liked setup had him in 10 gallon aquarium then moved him to a medium critter keeper. He may have gotten stressed out but not sure .

Should I keep temps around 80 ? I am worried that if keeping him at these temps it will only speed up metabolism and he will lose weight even faster.

I wouldn't force-feed just yet. First make sure there are no issues with your husbandry

You need to keep him at the appropriate temps (so around 80). It may speed up his metabolism a bit, but if you don't have the temps correct he won't start eating for you.
