Low 80's would be death for most darts. Especially a sustained low 80's. I don't use any external heating for my dart tanks, I just keep my frog room at 72.

I only heat my frog room with extra gadgets in the winter In the summer I just let the ambient room temp heat them. Like others have said sustained low 80's will kill most darts. I had this happen this past winter lost a whole group of Mantella.
