Zophobas, nutrition and other questions

Okay I need new basefood for my Pacman, I have some cockroaches left, but I think I'll try to breed them cause where I live there is no cockroaches to buy, only crickets and Zophobas.

Is the last mentioned anything I can give regulary to my Pacman as basefood and give her/him earthworms maybe once or every second week? (or when it rains). I actually don't know that much about Zophobas and what size they are or, but then again that's why I'm asking I guess. Are they good or bad for my frog or something in between? I know that they grow up to bugs.. and then you can't "use" them as food any more, that's the bad side I guess, but why? To hard shells?
