feeding two Red Eyed Tree Frogs?

well i bought another Red Eyed Tree Frog. Id asked for an adult female but got a younger one instead, not even able to be sexed i dont think. Its only like an inch and a half, maybe two inches. But he/she is alive and im glad for that! he got held up during shipment, was supposed to arrive a day earlier than he had, so id been really nervous. Poor thing was freezing as the heat pack had died but he was wide eyed and moving and jumping. I named him/her Newbie! Lol

Anyways! I was wondering what ill do once transferring him to frenchys (my other red eye) cage?? how will i be sure they both eat, and frenchy doesnt just eat everything before newbie gets a chance??

Newbie hasnt eaten yet (in his own container atm), i got him thursday. When i got frenchy, frenchy didnt eat for two weeks so im expecting something similar to happen with newbie. I get nervous though because newbie is so skinny! he should eat before starving to death right??

It's been widely noted that red eyes generally do not over-eat. What i would be more concerned with is quarentine for Newbie. Herman and Lilly(our pair) were different sizes and we had the same fears. But all is well and they get along fine.

Any pictures of Noob? A good one of the eyes, inner leg, and belly would help. Hows the skin look? Smooth or creamy? The fact that it is active, while yes stressed to hoo ha and back, is good. Has it calmed down since its warmed up? Also, for personal piece of mind man, contact the person you got it from and inform them of the shipping problem. The outcome may be good in your favor in future dealings and they might have input as well for you.

also set up quarantine for a newbie, papertowels, some plants, branches, anything that can be desinfected. Cover 3 sides if the tank. If you see the guy is still stressed out cover the 4th side too.
How are you feeding the guy? I suggest in a day or two you place him in a warm water bath with a drop or few of honey and then out him back in the at enclosure, that should help.
If you could post Pic would help too! It's normal for a frog not to eat for a few days after shipping.

What does the honey in the warm water do? ill take a photo of the set up. Im feedin him by putting the crickets right in. But ill do the bowl feeding method once he starts eating. I want eating to be easy for him. Ill post some photos. Thanks!

Ive got two dusted crickets in there now.

I didnt wanna place a heating pad under him because i think itd get too hot. So i put him in front of my mantid's cage. The heat lamp is shining on it a bit. Not so much that hes too hot, but also not so hes cold. Fortunately, my room is warm anyhow because of all my pets.

Actually, count your blessings so far. Thats one beautiful baby while a little thin(typical)
No nose crust. Nice eye coloration(sometimes a health indicator if they vary from normal), very smooth looking skin with an even color, no irritated looking skin between any of its joints. Good stuff. From the looks of those deep blue sides with a ziggy breakup it may be a nicaraguan. Sorry about the bad spelling.

The quarantine is set up with paper towel, a water bowl, climbing object, etc. Ill take a pic later. Of that and the eyes, inner leg, and belly. The skin looks no different than frenhcys, my original red eye. I did inform the shipper of the issue, he gave me a discount code.
