Hello, He was flat to the road, as if a car hit him, or bird attempted to eat him. I gently lifted him, and wrapped him in my shirt. I brought him home and put him in an aquarium out of harms way.
Upon inspection, it appears that he has a deep laceration across bridge of nose/ horizontally between eyes and nostrils.
His right front foot is missing skin.
I put some neosporin on any open areas several times today.
He is not reacting defensively right now, like he was this morning. (Raising his body, and trying to get away.)
He has moved around his tank, and does not list to one side any longer.

My question is, will these cuts close?
Also, is it abnormal for him to move his head downward intermittently? As if he is swallowing air.
