I've heard people mention taking their frog out in their yard for "exercise", is there any real value to this? Would my lady enjoy the sunshine and a sit out in the grass. Or, in reality, would Ripley just be stressed and then give me the cold shoulder for the next few days?
There is absolutely no advantage here. In fact, it is high recommended against. Unless you live in the same area the frog came from, there are all sorts of nasties outside that your frog will not have immunity from. Have others done it? Sure. Have they had problems? No clue. But I will say this, you rarely hear of anybody doing this long term.
I'm a big fan of better safe than sorry when it comes to our little friends.

I kinda figured as much. It seems like something that would only be enjoyable to the observer. I don't imagine Ripley being the adventurous, outdoorsy type...
