Yes, I have seen those threads, and that is where I am getting most of my info. Good idea to consolidate the links.

I can hear them hopping around now. One is more active than the other it seems. I am having a hard time convincing them to eat dubia roaches. I have a couple colonies going on now, and plenty of small ones. I really want them to eat dubia happily, as I am so tired of crickets. Ideas as to how one should get frogs to try new foods?

    Figured you did, lol

Good question... I don't mind the crickets, but I have some finicky butts who's decided they don't want to eat them. Of course these guys are due to be treated for strongyloides, bleh, so maybe that's why their appetites are off. When I tried Dubias on my WTFs when they were juveniles they went for them, but sadly they didn't digest them... again this could be because of parasite issues. I'm wanting to pick some Dubias up at an upcoming reptile expo and give them another shot. Will also be getting some hornworms (yay!) which I've been wanting to try on them for a long time now. I would recommend offering a variety of foods to frogs when they are younger and not so set on any particular feeder, otherwise give healthy adult frogs a 2-3 day fast then try them on the new feeder; I'd do a bowl for the Dubia & tongs for waxworms and night crawlers. Never fed the hornworms before so will have to decide the best method to feed those once I see how active they are. I am also looking for flightless house flies (not fruit flies) but it is practically impossible to find those... no way in heck I'm bringing flighted house flies into this apartment!
    Mom to these fine frogs!

I love Mossys. they remind me of baby dragons. Good luck with them.
