Hi!
Ive had my little guy Edgar for 6 months now and he hasn't grown much at all. I got him when he was about an inch and a quarter and now he's only about 2 and a half inches. I'm going to switch to worms soon, but he's always been fine with crickets. What could be wrong? (I'll fill out the form thing in a sec)
1. Size of enclosure- 10 Gallon
2. # of inhabitants - Just 1 (Edgar)
3. Humidity- 70-80%
4. Temperature- 78-82F
5. Water - type - for both misting and soaking dish- Conditioned tap water
6. Materials used for substrate Eco earth
7. Enclosure set up i.e. plants (live or artificial), wood, bark and other materials. Artificial plants, a ceramic hidey hut thing
- How were things prepared prior to being put into the viv- Soaked in hot water
8. Main food source- Crickets but I'd like to switch just don't know how.
9. Vitamins and calcium? (how often)- Daily
10. Lighting- Just a lamp in the room, not UVB
11. What is being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure- A thermometer/hygrometer
12. When is the last time he/she ate- Today
13. Have you found poop lately- No, about 2-3 weeks ago.
14. A pic would be helpful including frog and enclosure (any including cell phone pic is fine) I'll get one later
15. Describe frog's symptoms and/or recent physical changes; to include it's ventral/belly area.- None really just isn't growing
16. How old is the frog- About 7-8 months
17. How long have you owned him/her- 6 months
18. Is the frog wild caught or captive bred- I don't know
19. Frog food- how often and if it is diverse, what other feeders are used as treats- Just 8 crickets every other day
20. How often the frog is handled- Never
21. Is the enclosure kept in a high or low traffic area- Low
22. Describe enclosure maintenance (water changes, cleaning, etc)
-Water changes happen weekly (the water dries up daily), I change substrate monthly
