Soil for White Tree Frog

Hello!

Is it okay to use organic soil at the bottom of my white tree frog's tank? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't. Soils used for gardening, especially organic ones, are host to all kinds of creepy crawlies that you do not want in your tank. For example: I store my organic potting soil in Tupperware bins and recently I went to pot up a fern and when I opened my potting soil bin, it was swarming with gnats, worms, and the most centipedes I have ever seen in one place. Best to just use a commercially prepared ABG mix, or mix your own.

But don't people feed worms to frogs? If I were you I would have picked out the worms and clean them off, Because hey, free worms!

Some people do. I don't have any that will eat them. And without knowing what type they are, they will do more good in my garden than any where else.

Would baking the soil help?

It would clean the soil, but the dead invertebrates would end up rotting eventually, and dirtying the soil

Not really. Keep in mind there are insects/larvae/eggs that can survive forest fires, what do you think a little oven is going to do to them lol
It's just safer to go with an ABG mix.
