Default can Red Eyes eat meal worms?

Agreed, mealworms aren't really nutritious at all and they're hard to digest. The chitin in their segments does not break down. I do not use them for any of my frogs or our day gecko.

Your best bet is to gut load those crickets with healthy fruits and veggies as Lynn has recommended .
