Calcium / vitamin question

I never gut load crickets for frogs. Only my tarantulas get gut loaded crickets. For tree frogs, I dust with each feeding. And I don't dust heavy, just lightly. Never had an issue with them spitting out anything. I use fluker's for the tree frogs. Darts have their own supplements.

sorry, i have to correct myself, i use exoterra calcium/d3 for my tree frogs, not fluker's. been so long since i had a tree frog, i forgot. but i just saw that my supplements expired and i have a white's coming in this weekend, so we know what that means, let's go shopping!! LOL

I alternate between rep-cal, Repashy supervite, and repashy calc+. Over time, all of my frogs have gotten used to eating dusted crickets and no longer care. They might occasionally spit out an overly dusted one and wipe their tongue, but then just dive back in for another. I feed my crickets fresh fruits and vegetables for at least 24 hours and don't bother with the premade gutloads...I have seen too many stories on here where frogs are suffering from calcium deficiency because the owner thought the gutload products were enough.
