Hello to all in this frog loving community. I as well am fascinated and amused by these little guys and their families. Although I am brand spanking new on the rearing of these creatures. But when I under take a personal project I go all out. At the moment I'm researching environments and habitats so that I may create the perfect domicile for my soon to be Bufo Incilius alvarius family members. I can't wait but I also will not move forward until I have built the best accommodations. Any information from people with experience with these guys is thoroughly welcomed. (ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT) Like sand in opposed to coconut fiber or if I should build a land/water aquarium. I've heard 60% to 70% humidity works well for most but aren't these Desert Toads? Also temperature wise between 80 degrees and 90 degrees should work during the day but what is the best set up and how to achieve this for them?(heating pads in apposed to ceramic heaters? Like I said I'm researching then going all out, but that's just who I am.........any GOOD information is welcomed. And who you are as well. Good to meet ya!![]()
