SO the weather here in the South is crazy. A blizzard came over night. I get up this morning to go feed my Jabba and all my crickets except for three are dead. I can't get out of the house at all and I am now out of food. I normally feed him daily and I guess he is still a baby. I got him two months ago when he was as small as a quarter. Now he is the size of my palm. How long can he go without eating? Will he be okay until I can get more crickets? Is there anything I can feed him?
Also there are crickets in his tank that he hasn't eaten. Like he is full. Lately he only eats one medium sized one a day, maybe two.
Take the cricks out of his tank and be sure to do what you can to keep them alive.
Be sure the cricks you think are dead........... are really 'dead'.
Warm them up, first, before you dump them.
Even if they are lying in the crick bin up-side-down and not moving. Crickets are wacky !
Ration what you have for him and/or until you can get out.
Of course , be sure he is warm enough; that his temps are maintained , otherwise he will not be able to digest his food properly.

You could try ordering online night crawlers. They can tolerate the cold temps better than crickets in terms of deliveries. Be sure to have any shipped over-night shipping.

In which state are you located? Has the mail still been being delivered?

Thanks for all the replies. THe snow cleared up a bit and I was able to get out. All the pet stores were out of crickets though due to weather conditions here in Tennessee. So I went to my local walmart, bought some night crawlers and he is eating them. Although with the night crawlers I had to cut it in half. He took the whole thing in his mouth and then it slowly creeped back out, which freaked me out I thought he was getting sick, but he kept chomping and it came out. So like I said I cut it in half and he ate one part and refused the other. I guess it filled him up.
Yep, just cut them to nice bite sized pieces .
