My daughter and I have become avid lovers of photographing different animals. We live in Northern New Jersey and like to go local parks and nature preserves. We think these are green frogs but we're hoping to get confirmation. Any help would be appreciated.
trentolio is right, it is a Bullfrog.
You can tell because there is no dorsal folds, and no light colored "bulls eye" in the middle of the ear drum. Both of those things are present in Green frogs, but not Bullfrogs. -Seth
"There is nothing to fear but fear itself" -Franklin D. Roosevelt. Species kept: 0.0.4 Cynops ensicauda popei, 0.0.2 Salamandra salamandra terrestris, 1(?).2(?).0 Bombina orientalis. Call me Seth....
And also, I don't think green/bronze frogs have this, but bull frogs will sometimes have brown stripes on their legs like in the second picture
