Frog Lighting
I have a couple of questions---First I have halogen light on 2 of my terrariums I got the bulbs from Petco.My question is can I use a 50 watt bulb like this one.Of course Walmart has these and are cheaper than the ones at Petco. My second question is Does a Black Light harm the frogs,I would like to get one so I can see them at night.Let me know I will take all feedback.
Frog Lighting
The light depends on whether or not you have live plants. If so, then as long as the bulb is in the 6500k color temp range, then yes. If you don't have live plants, then spectrum doesn't matter and you can use any bulb as long as you don't exceed the manufacturer wattage rating.
