    Default Jittery toes

Noticed a behavior yesterday on my D. auratus. After I dropped pinheads into their tank, and the older one stalked them his back middle toe was very jittery as if "in anticipation." Just wondered if anyone has noticed this on their dart frogs.

This is standard behavior in the toad side of the Anuran tree, which includes dart frogs. They agitate the middle digit of a rear foot in order to attract prey.

Thanks guys, I thought it was probably a dinner time behavior. I didn't notice it until I added the 2nd frog so maybe competition for food has something to do with it also. Funny!

My blue dart has been by himself for a long time now and has always wiggled his toes when hunting down food.
