Default new to pacmans Set up questions(moved post)

I never noticed a pacman section lol to the forum sorry.

Will a 30x30x30cm exo terra be ok??
my inverts plastic viv gets to 21c in winter about 24-25c in summer without a heat mat thats pretty much how hot the room gets, would a 6inch x 11inch habistat heat mat I have spare be enough on the side for the pacman exo terra to reach it's required temp?
where would you place the thermistat prob???
how would you attach the heat pad to the side, electric tape??
how thick would you put the substrate? the pacmans they're selling locally are cb14 about 5-6cm.

I would say that size Exo Terra is adequate. If you find out you have a female, you may want a larger home for her down the road.

With the ambient room temperature below optimum (23C at night, 26-28 day) you'll have to use the spare mat you have. If the adhesive has worn off, electrical tape works for sticking it on the side, just use a lot. I would place the temperature probe close to or in the substrate somewhere so that it's not directly next to the heat source.

You can use about 4 - 6 cm of substrate for a baby frog and pile up more against the heated wall so he has warm spot if he wants. It also helps distribute the heat better. Deeper substrate will maintain humidity better.

Pacmans are great. I hope you post pictures when you get your new buddy! =)

Well it sounds like you got some real quality answers already. Just a small addition, getting a Zoomed Hygrotherm would be a great investment, monitors both humidty and temperature and can actually control both (if your heating source and humidity source is plugged into it).
