Tank Cleaning

Hi All

Exuse my influx of nooby questions, spent a couple of hours looking through the forums but would someone mind answering a few questions.

I have a brandnew Exo terra tank and it needs a clean before a set it up for my whites. What best to clean the inside glass plain hot water a new sponge and let dry?

Can i use glass cleaner on the ouside as long as i spray the cloth before wiping

If i purify a gallon of water with some reptile safe to use in dish how long can it sit in open air before it need throwing away

Don't use the glass cleaner, firstly. I like to use distilled water on some paper towel. After I've wiped everything, I wipe it off with a new paper towel.
