Default Shrimp as a Treat for a Pixie Frog?

    Hey guys,

So I have a one year old african pixie named Fred, and I was wondering if shrimp (like from Whole Foods) would be good as a treat? In the summer I put some feeder minnows and goldfish in his water as a treat, but my apartment is very cold in the winter so he spends most of his time on a heater pad. I'd like to give him some variety from bugs, and I'm saving his next mouse for spring break, so I'm at a bit of a loss.

Currently he is eating crickets, nightcrawlers, dried grasshoppers, super worms as a treat (he LOVES these nasty things), and giant islander roaches. His last mouse was over Thanksgiving break.

    Thanks!
