I've been strongly considering getting a tomato and see that LLLreptile sells adults. Are they a good company to do business with? Also I was thinking of just having one frog, but do they seem to prefer being in groups, or does it not really make a difference?
I have purchased frogs from LLL many times and would not hesitate ordering from Loren, Jen and the gang at LLL. They are an excellent company to deal with.
Sorry, I have never kept that species, so I can't really answer that part.

So glad someone asked this question! If I can't find a tomato frog at Decemeber's reptile show, I was going to wait until spring to order from them.
If its possible to get 2 of them I would do it, not just because they are cool frogs but this is a species you can actually keep in a small group. I don't think if there not that it has any real affect on them but IMO I think they prefer it. Maybe try and get a male and female, I know a guy that has three tomatoes and they all live together and are always side by side in the water dish or trying to all fit into one cave. And that's pretty funny looking because one is always sticking half out of the cave. They obviously have times were they want to be by themselves but the majority of the time they are together. He has 1male and 2 females. And I find every time the guy at the shop here has them they are always chilling together. Good luck at the show and hopefully you can get what your looking for.
