Hyde here, dropping in and hoping to stick around. :] New to the whole forum site but definitely find it an appealing place to browse. Looking to possibly pick up some good tips/pointers and a few new amphibian-loving friends.

I've got a rescued pacman that I got back in June of 2008 who has grown considerably while in my care. She was smaller than my thumb when I got her, and is now just about as rotund as the palm of my hand. :P Although she has her moments of shining intelligence, she seems/tends to have issues with self-sustaining. She doesn't(or at least I have never seen her) eat. She has to be coaxed to open her mouth. Once the food is past her lips though, she's a tanking machine.

I've also got a rescued group of tree frogs. 5 tiger-legged and one whites. Got them all for $10 dollars + their 20 gallon aquarium from a pet store that figured, just because they were going out of buisness, they could mistreat them. I only thought there was a white's in the tank when I bought it. When I raised the humidity, added some warmth and actually added some WATER to the bloody tank(it'd been bone dry), the tigers unburrowed from the turf and decided to pop up and say hi. Happy little buggers now. Although the white's is probably my best friend outta the whole lot. Lol.

I've dabbled with firebellies and even rescued a bullfrog. Found her in a near-frozen pool, kept her for the winter, then released her when it got warmer.

Frog savvy but not as intelled up as I know I should be. ;3 So figured you guys to help me out. Pluuus. I've found an increasing liking to the white's tree frogs and red-eyed babies. ^_^ So maybe looking for a reliable place in my area to pick up one or two of each. Who knows.

I'm just in it for the haul. Lol.

So. In a nutshell.

Hi. xD
