Me and my daughter are new to this site. We took this pic of a frog sitting in a puddle at a Nature Preserve in Northern New Jersey. We were hoping someone could help us identify it. Any help would be appreciated.
Welcome to the forum! The frog you see is Rana clamitans and can be distinguished by the patterning on
its face and the ridges across its back behind the eyes.
