i told you guys a new tank for the mints was in the works. it's almost complete. i just need to finish up the water feature. i will do that next weekend. here's my newest tank, Deforestation. i wanted to do something a bit different and use a piece of wood that wasn't perfect or pristine. it also allowed me to make a little statement about the environments our beloved little friends are now dealing with in the wild. i'll get better pics in a few days, but here are the ones i took today:
there is a serious amount of moss mix in this tank. there is Folius moss mix (Folius) on the rocks and NE Herp mix (New England Herpetoculture LLC - Herpetoculture Supply Menu) on the wood.

This looks amazing. Thank you for the link to the NE Herpetocolture website. I am starting to look at what plants I want to add to mine.
I don't know what I don't know and can't fix something unless I know its broken.
