Blowing itself up like they do when they shed or blown up like edema? And yes pics would definitely be a great help. For now, don't worry too much if nothing else with the frog is different. Eating and pooping is really great.

My concern is with shreds of moss or bits of things he could get into his mouth and ingest. But if he's hunting and eating normally it doesn't sound like impaction. Have you heard any croaking or calling or anything from him at all? He's young, but if he's truly a male he should be gearing up to sound off, and puffing up is part of that. I have pics of one of my young males blowing up before a croak session, and then what he looked like after with the deflated belly. Will have to see if I can find them so you can compare them to your guy.
