has anyone bought from mikes phat frogs?

Iv Ben looking into buying a pacman frog for some time now and was curious if anyone had bought from mikes phat frogs they look absolutely gorgeous and I just wanted to check if they were a good source before I spend a lot of money on one of these beauty's

You will of course find both ends of the spectrum here whether good or bad. But in my opinion I've heard nearly all good things from him as a distributor both on here and the pacman frogs usa facebook page. And you are spot on in the fact that he is toting some beautiful morphs of pacman. Definately worth the money in my opinion.

I'm not a Pac Peep, so have never purchased any from Mike, but I bought an adult blue eyed White's tree frog from him on Jan 22; she arrived healthy and is still doing well almost 3 weeks later. Great frog. No idea what on earth happened with the Paccys you received, Ataraxia, that was very sad but I'd have to say from my own experience I would buy another Whites Tree Frog from Mike again.

I know Mike breeds a lot of Hybrid Pacmans and they tend to be more prone to diseases, illness and untimely deaths. Not sure what could be done about it other than not buying hybrid Pac Mans...

Mike doesn't sell hybrids he sells cranwelli and ornata pacmans occasionally he'll have a few hybrid frogs he got in a trade but mostly works with the species I said

He produces alot of mutants not hybrids

He does at that . There awesome you never no what they'll look like he's got translucent pacmans also. I like the samurai blue peppermints he's producing

If you read more threads on here and Fauna classifieds, you'll see that he not only doesn't care if the animals he sends are sick or dying, and gets defensive whenever someone wants their money back or wants to get the word out, threatening to sue and in one members case, find them and fight them. Best to stay clear and find a reputable breeder
