I recently acquired a glass tank that is L24, W12, H16.5. I'm mostly interested in terrestrial frogs, so right now this glass tank doesn't fit my needs. But there are a few tree frogs I might want at a later time. Would this tank be any good for a red eyed, ruby eyed, or WTF? I don't want to get rid of it if I might need it later, glass is so expensive in the herpetology world![]()
Sounds like a 20 long. Not really suitable for tree frogs. Fire bellied toads would love it, though. Or Leopard geckos.
No, wait, nevermind, that's a 20 high. I have one, I had green tree frogs and pacific chorus frogs in it for a while, they didn't seem to mind it at all. My Fire bellies live in it now. I don't know about the frogs you listed, never had them.
Yes, a 20 High should work for tree frogs.
Currently own 3 whites tree frogs and the minimum tank in my opinion is 18x18x24 and that's bare minimum. My whites are all very active and love to climb high. Many people say a 20 high is suitable but I still disagree. I believe in ten gal per frog and the 18x18x24 is approximately 33 gal and I'm looking to upgrade eventually when I can afford a upgrade. Ideally I'd like to increase to a 36in high viv. When in doubt bigger is always better! Hope this helps.

WTFs need a minimum of 20 gallon for one frog with 10 gallons for each additional frog. A minimum tank size for two adult White's tree frogs would be a 24"longx18'deepx24"high Exo-terra, anything else is way too small for anything other than juvenile WTFs.
Actually that size would be perfect for terrestrial frogs, so... you just need to find the perfect frogs to go in itI recently acquired a glass tank that is L24, W12, H16.5. I'm mostly interested in terrestrial frogs, so right now this glass tank doesn't fit my needs.![]()
