I'm new to the forum and to frogs/vivariums. I am coming from a planted freshwater aquarium, riparium (terrestrial plants with roots in an aquarium), and aquaponic (like ripariums except typically using edible plants and the plants are often not directly attached to the tank but part of the filtration system) background. I've had a love for dart frogs since I was a child but never considered owning them. Back then I assumed they were wild caught and insanely expensive.. probably were.. but not they are pretty commonly captive bred and though a touch expensive.. not too much. After a mention of them on an aquarium forum I started looking into darts and decided I wanted to try my first viv and get some dedrobates azureus this year. I've started collecting necessary materials and have most of what I need to start (excluding plants and mico fauna), now I just need to figure out where the tank will go to I can start working on scape layout.
Look forward to browsing the forums and hopefully getting helpful suggestions from fellow members ^^
