I have no idea what essential mixings are either... Why say that instead of actually giving ataraxia the information to do what you're suggesting?
The two most common soaks you can do without a vet providing meds are honey and pedialyte. Honey soaks are usually used if the frog is impacted or is retaining water. Pedialyte soaks are used to get electrolytes/minerals into a listless or malnourished frog. Neither of these is going to hurt the frogs, and the pedialyte may be helpful, but IMO what they really need is a vet. I'd be really surprised if they don't have infections, and soaking isn't going to cure infection.
