That's a real shame about your frogs. The one left alive will definately need antibiotics and care. I'm sure you can handle it and wish you the best of luck and hope your frog gets better. Until you take it to the vet make sure to quarantine it and give it a couple soaks a day in treated luke warm water with the essential mixings!!

I have no idea what essential mixings are either... Why say that instead of actually giving ataraxia the information to do what you're suggesting?

The two most common soaks you can do without a vet providing meds are honey and pedialyte. Honey soaks are usually used if the frog is impacted or is retaining water. Pedialyte soaks are used to get electrolytes/minerals into a listless or malnourished frog. Neither of these is going to hurt the frogs, and the pedialyte may be helpful, but IMO what they really need is a vet. I'd be really surprised if they don't have infections, and soaking isn't going to cure infection.

To clarify: Honey soaks are 3-5 drops of honey in water. Pedialyte soaks are 1 part UNFLAVORED pedialyte to 10 parts water.

Does anyone here know a good reliable site to refer to for frog safe drugs, dosing (Product strength X Dosing strength X Per weight) and regimen? We do not have any vets here well versed in frogs. Any information to help lead them would be great.
