Recently, one of my frogs has drastically lost weight. He used to be the biggest, strongest, toughest frog who got the most crickets at feeding time and was always showing his dominance. Now, he's really thin and has lost muscle, and he's considerably slowed down. I had to feed him outside the tank for him to get enough. Is this illness? Should I take him to a vet? Any advice is really appreciated.

Yes you could always visit a vet to have him checked up. FBTs will live a long time so sparing some bucks will be worth it
I'll make an appointment, then. Anything I should know about bringing frogs to vets?

Hmm the basics, i guess you could be ready for a.. physical examination and a fecal sample. As well as a little info on your current husbandry so your vet could assess overall situation
I'll do so.
