    Default Need help with tank

    i found an old tank and it has a spray foam water divider it was so stupid of me along time ago but it is leaking and it is leaking slowly so it isnt a big crack i need something to put on it i tried silicone but i dont know where crack is with the flex seal stuff be able to use for my fire belly toad tank and will it last for a long time

    If you can't find the leak than you could tray adding another layer of spray foam to plug it. Unfortunately the easiest most sure fire fix would be to take it apart and redo the barrier.

    Taking it apart and rebuilding it would be best. You definitely do not want to use flex seal.

    If you decide to rebuild it, a good heat gun will help soften/loosen the old sealant. Just don't use too high a setting and be patient as it heats.
