No worries. Ive just seen quite a few people get bashed on here for asking similar questions, and think its a bit rediculous. Now if the OP was asking if it was okay to feed off frogs he just didn't feel like taking care of anymore or "adopting" peoples pets to use as feeders; those would be questions worthy of a good 'ol cyber bash or being called a troll.

Asking if the use of feeder frogs is acceptable is a completely legitimate question.

It definitely is a legit question. I LOVE frogs but I love em like a biologist love animals... not like a teenager girls like furry kittens.... and happens the food chain is all weird and all about opportunity when you're not at the top, being spoon fed by govnt

Anyways... frogs should absolutely NOT be used as a staple, that is one sure thing. Your frog will definitely develop some issues with the years if you do that because it just can't be nutritionally right. Now for a treat, I don't see a problem IF you trust your feeder source. There is one thing you need to understand when doing so is that there is one risks that is quite increased in comparison to if you were to feed rodent or insects. Pathogens don't transmit as easyly from rodent/insects to frogs but frog/frog now this is real easy... basically if your feeder frogs are not top notch, your risking your frog health
Rodent MUSTN'T be used as staple either.... you frog WILL run into issues because of calcium overdose, trust me.

I find it funny people in the US/UK think they're the only "developped" countries on this planet (no offense there Bill )... Singapore is actually WAAAAYYYY more "developped" than US and UK It doesn't mean they have easy access to everything tho. It is a sovereign city-state so this means it's REALLLY small place.

Like said previously, you really wanna get your hand on roaches and keep your own colony going. It's REAL easy, super cheap and self sustaining!
Read up about dubias and do everything you can to get your hand on 100-200-300 on them and you'll be golden for the rest of your life!
They're real easy to ship... just sayin

You're just upset because he left 'Canada' off his list:P. Wait... I'm upset too. To the snowmobiles and snow catapults!

Seriously though, I get what he's driving at. The state of frog/reptile/critter hobby varies greatly across the globe. Things we might take for granted as being available feeders aren't always options elsewhere and we should all view the rest of the world with a flexible eye.
