Tadpole tank photos

We had our first guy find his way out of the water - at least for a little bit - last night.

This is a 29 that was transferred from a 5 Gallon started with pond water. It still has a nice pondy smell after slowly adding a half gallon a day until we hit about six gallons.


Pay no attention to the mess behind the pocket door...



It's not the best shot for showing how many and the different sizes ( and I think species ) of the little buggers.

I'm afraid I'm terrible with those mini-brick digitals. I need a proper camera body to get a clear shot.

There appear to be Grey Tree Frogs and Spring Peepers, but not 100% sure on the Peepers.

Did you get tadpoles from the pet store ?

No. They came from a friends swimming pool before she drained it off for the spring/summer cleaning.
