Default New to the frog world in Ontario, Canada!

As someone who frequents our wonderful local Reptile supply store, I have enjoyed rehabing reptiles such as geckos, Chameleons and Beardies since June 2014 (all of which were bought off craigslist in an effort to rescue them from their current owners trying to sell them).

One day while getting feeders for my extended fam, I saw a little frog poking out of some substrate in a small terrarium. The next day he was home with me - just a few days before Christmas!

The store owner told me he is about a year old, presumably a male (based only on colour). He is small for his age, if a male, however was only fed mice about once every 2-3 weeks he said. Perhaps this affected his growth? I feed him every day here and he accepts willingly, and yes, he is off the mice!!! Crix, hormworms, earthworms, and butterworms are his new menu items!

I am addicted to this little one, and want to introduce myself and him/her to you all. Named Bubba Gump!!

I am hoping to meet with others from the Ontario area, as I am in Southern Ontario, Niagara region to be specific! Will be looking for more Pixies to add to my family!

    TY Ryan!

Haha - I tried and he was not amused! Perhaps a live one, but no interest in one that was pre-frozen (but thawed) head and legless. Tried wiggling it in tongs, nothing.

He earned the name because I have a Veiled Chameleon named Forest GRUMP and when I got this guy, the matching names seemed ideal....despite the not liking shrimp part
