Hello, everyone. I have 3 Waxy Monkeys. 1 male 2 females. I have had 1 male and 1 of the females for about 2 years. Acquired the other female about 2-3 months ago. They are in an 18"x18"x24" tall exo terra. Plenty of branches to climb on. Temp = 90 degrees in basking area. I do have uv lights on 10-12 hours out of the day. Humidity = 30-50% 50% only when I water the plants. I have had no problems with my Waxys up until about 6 months ago. My original female stopped eating for no reason. Called a vet and she recommended fecal sample ( negative) and try force feeding with repti boost and a high calorie dog/cat food. At that time it seemed like she couldn't see to catch her food. She wanted to eat but couldn't find it. So I did the force feedings for 1 week. She is back to normal now but has a haze over 1/2 of 1 eye. Not so concerned with her anymore she is hunting and back to eating like a champ. I acquired the other female because all was well with my 2. She is healthy and eating fine.
Now for my issue, my male stopped eating about 2 weeks ago. I've tried the force feedings but he is not tolerating as well as my female did. He is very skinny and I don't know what to do. Please anybody help, I don't want to lose Mo! Sorry for the winded post but I figured the more info the better.
First Pic is of Mo, next pic is Flo my original female, next pic is Lumpy 2nd female.
Thank you, Joey
