Hello everyone I learned of an amazing website today during a checkup call with my vet that I thought I would share with those who don't know about it. The name of the website is www.anapsid.org, it is by a lady named Melissa Kaplan. She is not a vet or legal herpetoligist but has been working with reptiles and amphibians since 1990. She has done tones of field work, worked for the L.A Zoo, co founded the North Bay Herpetological Society and has wrote over 150 books. She has done a lot more that you can read in her bio. There is great articles on husbandry for tones of speices and alot more. So if you don't know about this website you should check it out, if someone cant help you here you may be able to find it there. Her Biography is great.
Sorry the one line is supposed to say that her library contains of over 150 books from known herpetologists and has also wrote some of her own. Sorry, I just came back and read it. And please no one think that im trying to say that we get wrong advice and stuff from this forum because that's the farthest thing away from what im thinking,I love this forum and everything I have been told has been more than help full. It was told because my vet knows its not cheap to bring your pets to get treated and sometimes we can treat at home, and im just sharing for the reason that if we cant figure it out here they may be able to look something up on this site to help. There is meds and home remedies and stuff we can use on our frogs, and it will even help you find a herp vet in your area. I just thought it could be of use and it is always good to share knowledge.
