Default Hello from a soon-to-be frog dad!

Hi, I'm Cris from Montana! I don't have any frogs yet, but I've been doing a lot of research to prepare for a whites tree frog or two. It may be a few months before I can get them, since I have decided it is best to order online and our temps are too cold for shipping right now. It definitely seems worth the wait to get healthy frogs though!

So until I can get the little guys I'll just keep doing research and getting all the supplies I will need. I also have two dogs, two rabbits, and a few fish aquariums.

I'm looking forward to being a part of the community!

Welcome to the forum, Cris! It is always wonderful to have someone join who is doing research BEFORE getting a frog.

Good choice in frog! You can't go wrong with whites, one of the most enjoyable animals I've worked with/kept! Just be prepared in case you get a male, getting women at 3am by croaking isn't always fun

The FROG is trying to get women at 3 am.

It's good that you're being patient and learning about them. I love my two white's but they're not for everyone because they're more or less nocturnal and not very active.

Thank you for the welcomes! I'm excited to get my frogs but am very glad to learn the knowledge I need first!

And I am aware of the possibility of 3 am croakings but that's okay. I'm a bit nocturnal myself so I think we'll be a good fit

I hate it when I wake up at 3am to my whites tree frogs and their women...they grew up too fast

I'll admit it is pretty enjoyable to listen to, I have mine croak trained where they croak on command believe it or not, another warning, tree frogs are addictive pets, you'll want to keep a different species next

Well there's certainly worse things to be addicted to!
