Hello all,

I was was referred to this site from theplantedtank.net by a member there because I just bought my first terrarium. It's a 12x12x18 zoo med. I am a terrestrial, aquatic, and semi-aquatic plant nut and my plan for now is to stick to plants. The frogs everyone keeps here are awesome and intriguing to me. However, the military lifestyle makes it hard enough to enjoy my gardening hobby let alone animals. I move constantly and feel it would be too stressful for the inhabitants of my tanks and now terrariums.

Maybe some day I will be in a position to be a frog owner, but for now, I look forward to learning about building, scaping, and maintaining the tanks and growing plants.

Welcome to the forum .

Perhaps when you're ready you could do a small 18x18x18" Exo terra cube with a couple dart frogs. Easy to take with you if driving .

I've been to the planted tank forum for some aquarium ideas. Very nice forum and nice of them to recommend us .

Vivariums can be easy once you get your ecosystem going. Always nice to have a couple pretty inhabitants enjoying them .
