Question Anyone know about hermit crabs?

I was wondering if anyone knew of hermit crabs on here? I have a question, if anyone can answer. I've looked online about this, but couldn't find it anywhere. I got another hermit crab recently, i have 8 of them right now, but the newest addition I got, everytime I pick him up water always comes out of him. Not a ton, but whenever I pick him up water always comesout from near back of his shell. I was wondering if this is a sign of molting soon or something? If someone could reply, thanks. Doesn't sound like it's ready to molt. They will burrow somewhere before doing so. What do you have for water sources (salt and fresh) for them? Perhaps water is collecting in its shell when it goes into the water bath and doesn't completely drain.

All my hermit crabs love to bury. They are most always buried down. And yes I have salt and fresh water for them. And I haven't seen him in the salt bath yet, so thats why I've found it odd.

That's just normal. Probably just water that got caught up inside the shell. Sometimes they seem to froth out or become damp to replace the old water inside the shell. Young ones in particular do this to prevent their soft body from drying out excessively

^_^ I use to keep hermits, it's like Tongue Flicker said. It's likely the result of frequent soaking to keep hydrated so it doesn't dry out. The smallest guy I had never soaked in his water dishes, and went to molt he was much too big to be in his shell. In the process of switching he must've not been moist and hydrated enough the following bf morning I found him dried up outside his shell.

A picture of two I use to keep.
