My friend bought this frog today, he was told it is a Vietnamese Blue Frog... We disagree... Any suggestions??

I say someone told your buddy wrong. According to ALMIGHTY GOOGLE ( haha), this is a Vietnamese Blue.
Unless little guys are yellow? I dunno...

Definitely not a "vietnamese blue" frog...those are BLUE. LOL I am horrible at ID, so hopefully someone good comes on to help you out soon!

I think your buddy was on TTTF fb page yesterday...
We told him about 2132 times that his isn't a P. dennysii ... it is a P. leucomystax
The one in that picture is a male. Brown colored ones are females. They're foam nesting frogs, real interesting.
But yeah no offense but your buddy did absolutely everything wrong and his female is already dead right? PRetty sure we're talking about the same guy cause I recognize that picture.
I think he brought em back for 1 WTF... oh well

So true once I asked for information on a Aquatic dwarf frog and he started telling me how i should use coconut fiber for my substrate for humidity issues!
