Default Semi-off topic, but on topic vivarium questions

******Please feel free to let me know if this is a stupid idea, or not worth the time and money******

For some reason I'm stuck on the idea of buying one of the Exo Terra nano habitats, probably the 8x8x12.
My questions and concerns are as follows

    A) what kind of animal, frog or otherwise, can comfortably live and be healthy in such a small habitat.
Also, I would prefer to keep a pair in the nano if possible.

    B) what are the drawbacks to such a small habitat?

    Thanks for the help

No frog can live in a habitat that small. As for other animals, I'm guessing you're going to have to look at some kind of invert.

The only animals ive ever seen people keep successfully in a exo-terra nano were orchid mantis and tarantulas

yup. i agree on both those. maybe one of the smaller stick insects or a smaller species millipede. some centipedes would do well in there if you aren't afraid of them. even a scorp would do ok in that. but i agree with amy. no frog would be ok in a tank that small.

Thanks for the replies. My gut feeling as I wrote the post, was that it would be too small for an amphibian. But a mantis is something that popped in my head earlier and would be fun to watch grow
