    Metabolic bone disease, can be genetics too, but the chances a frog will grow to that size are minimal. So when you see something like that you can suspect MBD and look for the other signs. It's confirmed on xrays.
    Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

    What sort of schedule do you use with vitamin and calcium powder? MBD can't necessarily be reversed, but starting on a correct dusting schedule couldn't hurt.

    thanks!! i just got him/her a week ago and will start dusting every other feeding from now on...hopefully it will help
