My two little froglets are growing. One is much larger, but the smaller one is more active. I found pinhead crickets online and have been giving them plenty (dusted every three meals) and both small and larger fruit flies. Is there an average amount to feed them or should I continue with just putting in plenty? These frogs are now about 3 weeks without tails. The larger on is about 3/4 " long. My other two tadpoles look like they will be climbing out of the water within days.
Thanks for your input! and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Congratulations! I assume 'plenty' is good for most froglets, however it would help if you mentioned the species. Maybe make another post in the appropriate section of the forum. That way you'd find people familiar with the exact species.
Give them what they will clean up within 15 minutes I think is what I read somewhere. That and new metamorphs/froglets should have their food dusted every day until they are sub-adult (someone correct me if I'm wrong?) as froglets are actively growing and need more calcium. Sub-Adults/Adults can have their food dusted 1-2 times a week.
What kind of frogs are they?
Mom to these fine frogs!

IrThumper is right. You want to feed them enough they can eat in a short period of time. Excess feeders in the tank can stress the froglets.
