Hello, my frog was eating Brine shrimp for the longest time but I wanted to switch it up a bit and start feeding him blood worms. Well let me just say he's hooked and spoiled now. Anything other than bloodworms he spits out. My question is can African Dwarf Frogs survive solely on blood worms and how many worms should I give him a day. The brand I have is Hikari Frozen Blood Worms. Thanks!
Bloodworms are the most nutritious food item you can feed to the dwarf frogs (Two points for Hikari!) Try feeding a couple at a time from a turkey baster or long tongs, usually its best to feed any frog a variety of food items. I would test certain foods including some pelleted foods. He should be good on bloodworms for a while.

Can also try live blackworms (some pet shops cary them for fish) and Hikari frozen Daphnia.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
